Akshayy Paniker embarked on his journey in filmmaking after completing his degree at the renowned Zee Institute of Media and Arts, specializing in writing and filmmaking. Beginning as an assistant director on notable television serials such as "Pita Parmeshwar" for Doordarshan, his passion for storytelling propelled him to greater heights.
With a string of successes as an associate director, director, and acclaimed writer, Akshayy Paniker has left an indelible mark on the television landscape. His contributions to popular serials like "Saath Phere," "Maayka," "Anu Ki Ho Gayi Wah Bhai Wah," and "Crime Patrol" have earned him widespread recognition and admiration.
Driven by a desire to explore the realm of cinema, Akshayy Paniker ventured into regional films, garnering acclaim and accolades. His work on projects like "Chaar" as an associate director, which received 8 awards for its excellence, and his screenplay for "Je Pan Kahish E Sachuj Kahish," honored with the Best Screenplay Writer award by GIFA, underscore his commitment to storytelling excellence.
Currently, Akshayy Paniker is involved in exciting upcoming projects, including the Hindi film "Mental" as an associate director and the eagerly anticipated "Sandwich," a film he both wrote and directed, produced by Misti Media Production. Additionally, he is spearheading the creation of the Hindi web series "Virudh," once again in collaboration with Misti Media Production.
